We share local news, events, recommendations, guides, and sponsor messages. We work to be useful and accurate. Dates, prices, availability, business details, and other information can change. Confirm important details with the organizer or business before making plans or spending money. Our content is general information, not professional legal, medical, or financial advice.
The newsletter is currently free. Use an email address you are authorized to use. You can unsubscribe through the link in our emails. We may change the schedule, features, or availability of the newsletter. Any future paid offering will have its own clearly disclosed terms before purchase.
Sponsored content and paid placements should be identified as such. A listing, advertisement, or link does not guarantee a business’s products, services, or results. Your dealings with outside businesses are between you and them. Their websites and services have their own terms and privacy policies. Sponsorship purchases require a separate agreement. An inquiry form does not book a placement or commit either party to payment.
Our original text, photographs, branding, and other materials are protected by intellectual property law. You may read, share links, and make reasonable personal, noncommercial use as permitted by law. Do not republish substantial portions, remove credit, impersonate the Insider, or systematically copy our content without permission. Third-party materials remain the property of their owners. These terms do not restrict fair use or other rights provided by law.
Please send accurate information you have the right to share. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing material. You give us permission to review and use submissions for their intended purpose, such as responding to an inquiry or considering an event listing. If you submit content for publication, you grant a nonexclusive permission to edit and publish that content in our services and related promotion. You keep ownership. We may decline or remove a submission. We do not publish private contact details as part of a listing without permission.
Do not interfere with the site, misuse signup forms, send spam, attempt unauthorized access, or use the services unlawfully. We may limit access or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are provided as available and as is, without warranties of uninterrupted service, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for decisions you make using our content. To the extent permitted by law, St. Mary’s Insider and Michael Cole are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. We may update these terms and will show the new effective date. Material changes apply prospectively, with notice where required by law. Maryland law governs to the extent permitted, without taking away mandatory protections that apply where you live. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply.
